You can help slow down the effects of climate change
Most scientists agree that greenhouse gases generated from human activity play a significant role in climate change.
At Simplygreen, we are passionate about helping our customers minimise their impact on the environment. One of the ways we do this is by offsetting the carbon emissions generated by every customers’ novated lease car. Over 85% of our customers generously offset their own carbon emissions, and Simplygreen tops up the rest to ensure 100% carbon offsetting of our fleet.
We first started doing this in 2007 and have had a significant impact on the environment. To have the biggest impact our efforts are aligned to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals: 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy and 13 – Climate Action.
We’re also continuing to explore how we can encourage and support our customers to transition to electric and hybrid vehicles, which will generate lower emissions in general.

We pay carbon offset credits to our environmental partner, South Pole, who allocate the funds towards some of the most pressing environmental issues and projects around the world, including in Australia.
In 2018, nearly $15,000 was allocated to these projects:
